Back in Sept. I had the pleasure of photographing Melissa and Patrick’s THURSDAY Wedding. It was such a lovely wedding with the unique details that complimented the color scheme. The ceremony and reception were both held at the Houston restaurant Stolla Sola. It was actually the first time to be a wedding venue, and everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant. I was beyond excited that Melissa and Patrick chose to have a “first look” before the ceremony. Shortly after the couple was dressed and ready to roll we positioned them in a lovely courtyard across from the Magnolia Hotel in Downtown for their first look. I love the REAL emotions that I captured just before theirs eyes met. I honestly believe many couples hold back their emotions as they see each other for the first time in front of people. But when it’s just you and your love… you feel free and compelled to let your emotions flow… I really love seeing how much my couples are in love! Here are a few of my favs. from their wedding day!
