Sarah e. Evans Photography BLOG bio picture
  • Welcome!

I am so glad that you are visiting the BlogSite! Please take a look around and view past content as well! I am Sarah of Sarah e. Evans Photography. We are located in Southeast Texas and Available for Travel Worldwide. As you see I love shooting Weddings, HS Seniors (girls only) and Boudoir. Combining Vintage and Modern elements along with natural light to capture the perfect image is a weakness of mine (meaning I LOVE IT!) Finding unique locations and bright colors are always part of my sessions as well. A little more about me... I have a weakness for cookies and pasta, I enjoy cooking and decorating (as it allows my creative juices to flow), I have two wonderful little boys whom you may see from time to time on the blog, I have been married for 5 years now to my fabulous husband, OH and that reminds me, I tend to say Fabulous a little too much! ; ) XOXO - Sarah e.

Melissa and Chase | Southeast Texas Wedding Photographer

Melissa and Chase’s wedding has been one of my favorites in the way that we were able to do ALL “formal” shots before the wedding. They both had decided to do a “First Look”, which you know i LOVE! And also choose to do family pictures before as well, it allowed for everyone to enjoy the reception instantly with a lull in time and waiting. (which please take note, I work fast and efficiently to get the shots between ceremony and reception!) I loved many many of Melissa and Chase’s “first look” images!

Sorry they are not in complete order.. ; )

Have a FABULOUS Monday!

Samantha and Wes | Southeast Texas Wedding Photographer | The Barn

The second half of 2011 certainly had me busy on my toes working many weddings. And I can honestly say that I enjoyed each and year one! I have many to blog and first up is Samantha and Wes’s wedding at The Barn in Kountze. I had the pleasure of working with Marissa at Glass Slipper Events for the wedding. She is amazing and helps any wedding day go as smoothly as possible! I loved the decor and fall like color scheme that set the mood for the wedding.

E’s Camping Deer Birthday Party | Featured on StudioDIY

When my son, “E” told me he wanted a “Camping Deer” Birthday party.. I knew this was going to be something that we could definitely do! Now I last year’s birthday party was a little crazy with the carnival theme… but I absolutely LOVE how his “camping deer” party came out! It was completely how I envisioned. There were a few “mishaps” but overall it was a COMPLETE success and really fun to plan! While I am photographer, not a designer.. I have always had an interest in design and party planning.. while yes I go crazy and even have NIGHTMARES (yes I had nightmares about his party..lol) it’s another “creative outlet” for me! ; )

The cake was from the FABULOUS Therese of T Cakes Creations- http://www.tcakescreations.com/

Some of the decor was provided by Tamara Menges Designs - http://tamaramenges.com/

The shirts were made at The Shirt Shack in Warren.

The wooden spoons and forks came from the online etsy store  Sucre & Spice -http://www.etsy.com/shop/SucreandSpice

Please enjoy some of my fav. images from his party and a BIG THANK YOU to my family who helped set up the last few hours before the party and everyone who attended! You helped make his 4th Birthday party WONDERFUL!!
